Search Engine Submission is simply the process of submitting a web site to a
search engine
so as to make it aware of the web site.

Information
Search Engine Submission involves using the submission means provided by the searchengine
to make them aware of a web site. Basic submission involves revealing the location or URL
of the web site along with additional information including contact details. Submission to
a directory based search engine, such as Yahoo, requires
information about which category or categories the web site should be listed under. Once a
web site is submitted, the URL is placed in a queue to be reviewed at a later date. Both
computers and humans review web sites to be included to searchengines. If the web site
passes the search engine submission criteria, (see definition for Search Engine Placement), the web site is
added to the search engine index to be displayed in web search results.
There are many factors involved in successful search engine submission - and each
search engine employs their own rules and policies for submission. Some
search engines
require that you only submit the base URL of your web site and it will find all the pages
automatically. Some search engine require you to submit all your pages to be indexed.
Some search engine will penalize you if you submit more than a certain small
